We warrants that Automatic Slack Adjusters from RM Brakes when installed and maintained on vehicles in accordance with their instructions, will be free of defects in material or workmanship under normal use and service for the 1 YEAR.

NB: The warranty period runs from the date of manufacture, as indicated on the plate of the unit concerned. Please see below for an example of the plate.

Please Note: Automatic Slack Adjuster cannot compensate for other deficiencies within the braking system. Therefore before returning a unit CHECK:
• that it is installed correctly
• for loose wheel bearings
• for binding camshafts
• for worn or missing brake return springs
• for worn cam bushes and bearings
• for defective brake chambers

Conditions of Warranty
• Any claim must be made within the period of the warranty.
• Along with the ASA you must supply the reason you believe it to be faulty, the mileage, period and type of service.
• RM Brakes will replace the failed unit / whole ASA without charge if the claim is found to be valid.
• The warranty does not cover ASAs which fail because of incorrect installation or abuse.
• RM Brakes does not accept liability for any consequential losses arising from the failure of a unit.
